Bob Burge and the team advise that contractors have resurfaced the road which had to be excavated for the sewer repairs at and below the oak tree island. The new tarmac has to be left to harden for about 24 hours.

The road is due to re-open by Sunday evening (Sept 23rd). A tree stump remains at the roadside and will be ground out in the coming days.
