BestCo our nominated contractor has agreed a start date of Monday 5th September for the resurfacing works at upper Woodside Hill and middle Chiltern Hill, see below:

•            Upper Woodside Hill.  Replace asphalt road surface from Mulberry House to Ellis Ave
•            Middle Chiltern Hill.  Replace asphalt road surface from Ellis Ave roundabout to Ochre House
•            Other minor road surface and speed bump repairs

BestCo plan to plane off the road surface of both roads on Monday 5th September, resurface one road on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday 7th September.  Thursday would be a spare day to pick up any minor work and other repairs we may identify.

During Monday 5th September 2022, vehicular access to some resident’s properties may be reduced for a short period during the day to undertake preparatory work and remove the existing road surface on the various estate roads.  During this time, you may need to wait for a short time, or use another route, whilst these works are being undertaken.  We remind you that manhole covers may be raised where the road surface has been removed.

On Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th September 2022, vehicular access to resident’s properties in the affected roads will be limited for several hours whilst the road is resurfaced and the asphalt material then cools.  We suggest you may wish to park vehicles elsewhere on the estate as we will not be able to drive over the new road surface until advised by our contractor.

BestCo has indicated that both the preparation work and main resurfacing works will start at about 08:00 each morning and generally finish mid-afternoon each day.
