Hill Climb Parade Revisted

The Estate, the Feast of St Peter and Celfunde Inheritance (the Village History Society) jointly organised a Hill Climb Parade of Classic Cars on the Estate on Saturday 27th June to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the last Hill Climb held on the dirt roads of the Estate by the Bugatti Owners’ Club and the Middlesex County Automobile Club here in the 1930’s.

Spectacles found, Lower Chiltern Hill

A pair of glasses has been found outside Chaltry, Chiltern Hill.

The spectacles are prescription and have black frames with a square shaped lozenge on the side and the makers are Elle.

Crane at Oakleigh 4th June

Notification from Mr Gary Wynne

“We will be having a crane on site on Thursday morning to lift some steels in place . The crane will be on site but the lorry with the steel will be on the road .

Cars should be able to pass and I will be on site myself with my site agent to manage any traffic issues.”
