Lincoln Road Temporary Closure 8th Nov

Dear Resident

Due to the need for urgent tree surgery work, please note that we are having to close access through Lincoln Road from approximately 9am until 3pm on Friday 8thNovember.   The road will be closed outside of the White House for safety reasons.  Residents and visitors will need to use an alternative route to access parts of Lincoln Road, for example by using Woodside Hill/Chiltern Hill and Ellis Avenue.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Traffic Counting on Chalfont Heights

Following on from the flooding events in the village and the large number of vehicles that diverted through the Estate, CHRC have put in place 3 traffic counting units at the various entrances to Chalfont Heights.

There is a unit on Upway, one at the bottom of Woodside Hill and also one a shot distance up from the bridge on Chiltern Hill. CHRC own 1 unit and we are hiring 2 others from Metrocount at this point in time.

A Tribute to Jonathan Pegler

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of the previous Chairman of Chalfont Heights Roads Committee, Jonathan Pegler.

Jonathan and his wife Jayne moved to Chalfont Heights in 2001. He served as a volunteer on the Committee, acting as Chair from 2013 to 2017.

After stepping down from the role Jonathan remained available to provide counsel to his successor when required. His experience and wisdom were much appreciated.

In memoriam – Barry Bradbrook

Tributes have been paid to Chalfont Heights resident Barry Bradbrook, who died in February aged 87.

Barry Bradbrook (1935-2023)

Barry was a popular man, known to many on the estate and in Chalfont St Peter village. He was someone who believed in making his contribution to the estate: Barry served as a member of the Chalfont Heights Roads Committee for six years, from 2000 until 2006.
